Deborah Meyer studied chemistry at ETH Zurich and completed her studies in 2011 with a master's thesis in the field of nuclear magnetic resonance spectroscopy. She was fascinated by the field of magnetic resonance, so from 2012 she worked at the Institute of Physical Chemistry at the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau in the field of electron spin resonance. She completed her doctorate there in 2017 with a thesis on light-induced states in materials relevant to organic electronics.
Given her attention to detail and her tendency to solve problems in a structured way, she became enthusiastic about intellectual property and decided to start her training as a patent attorney at the law firm Michalski Hüttermann & Partner at the beginning of 2018. In 2021, Dr. Meyer was admitted as a German patent attorney. Deborah Meyer has been a partner at the firm since 2022.
