Nach mehr als fünfzig Jahren der Vorbereitung und dem Scheitern mehrerer Vorgängermodelle trat am 1. Juni 2023 das Einheitspatentsystem in Kraft, bestehend aus dem Einheitspatent sowie dem Einheitlichen Patentgericht. Nunmehr, etwas mehr als ein Jahr später, liegen die ersten erstinstanzlichen Urteile vor. In unserem Webinar wird Prof. Dr. Aloys Hüttermann, Autor eines Handbuchs sowie Mitherausgeber eines Kommentars zum Thema, eine erste Bilanz ziehen. Haben sich die Erwartungen erfüllt? Werden sowohl Einheitspatent wie Einheitliche Patentgericht angenommen? Wie ist die bisherige Rechtsprechungspraxis des Einheitlichen Patentgerichts zu beurteilen?

EQE Seminar
Two dates: 25/26 November 2024 and 14/15 December 2024
In 2024, our law firm is again offering a preparatory course for the C and D parts of the European Qualifying Examination (EQE exam). Two dates will be offered, with the courses on both dates having the same content, so attendance on one date is sufficient.
The course content is primarily focussed on suitable examination techniques and strategies for avoiding mistakes in order to be able to successfully tackle the C and D parts of the EQE examination with these skills. In our experience, well-prepared exam papers significantly increase the chances of success. We therefore want to provide participants with the necessary methodological knowledge in this course. In this respect, the course is to be understood as a supplement to the participants' own preparation of the legal foundations of the EPC. Instead, participants will learn how to convert their technical knowledge of the EPC into as many points as possible to pass the C and D parts of the EQE examination. The course takes place in Düsseldorf at our premises at Kaistrasse 16A and is free of charge. The course speakers are Dr Torsten Exner, Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Gröschel and Prof. Dr Aloys Hüttermann.
