Patent Seminar

April 11, 2024 - Register online now

After a three-year "Corona break", our traditional patent seminar, which is aimed at employees of patent departments and lawyers working in intellectual property, took place again in April 2023.

At the Industrie-Club in Düsseldorf, eight speakers gave presentations on topics such as current patent case law in Germany and Europe, the limits of D&O insurance cover for patent infringements and the judicial enforcement of patent claims with the help of litigation funders.

The great response to this event has encouraged us to organise the patent seminar annually again. The next patent seminar will take place on 11 April 2024. We would be delighted to welcome you to our seminar.

EQE seminar

For the 15th time, our law firm offered two free two-day preparation courses for the C and D parts of the European Qualifying Examination (EQE exam) in 2023.

The course content focuses primarily on suitable examination techniques and strategies for avoiding mistakes in order to be able to successfully tackle the C and D parts of the EQE exam with these skills. We have found that well-prepared exam papers significantly increase the chances of success. That is why we want to provide participants with the necessary methodological knowledge in this course.

In this respect, the course should be seen as a supplement to the participants' own preparation of the legal basis of the EPC. Instead, participants will learn how to convert their technical knowledge of the EPC into as many points as possible to pass the C and D parts of the EQE examination. The courses take place in Düsseldorf on our premises at Kaistrasse 16A and are free of charge.

The course speakers are regularly Dr. Torsten Exner, Dipl.-Ing. Andreas Gröschel and Prof. Dr. Aloys Hüttermann.

You will soon find out when new courses are offered here.
