Christoph Wilk was born in Ulm/Danube in 1948. He studied chemistry in Mainz and gained his doctorate in the field of polymer chemistry.
In 1977, he joined the research department of Henkel KGaA, working in the fields of adhesives and coatings and making a number of his own inventions. After moving to the patent department in 1982, he passed the European qualifying examination and the German patent attorney examination while working. From 1997 to 2012, he headed the patent department with more than 35 employees working as attorneys in Germany, the USA, China and Japan. Since 2013, he has been working as a freelancer for Michalski ∙ Hüttermann & Partner Patentanwälte.
Christoph Wilk specialises in intellectual property law, covering all aspects of patent law, in particular in the field of chemistry. In addition, licences, inventor law, patent valuation and portfolio management.
