Maximilian Holsten studied mechanical and production engineering at RWTH Aachen University from 2008. For his Master's degree in 2013, he focussed on the machining of large-module gears for wind turbines. His dissertation, which he wrote during his time as a research assistant at the Laboratory for Machine Tools and Production Engineering (WZL) at RWTH Aachen University, focuses on spark erosion manufacturing technology and its application in the machining of titanium-aluminium materials in engine construction. He was awarded his doctorate in engineering with honours in 2018.
After completing his training as a patent attorney in 2019, Mr Holsten joined the law firm Michalski Hüttermann & Partner in 2023 after being admitted as a patent attorney.
Mr. Holsten speaks German and English. He enjoys spending his free time with his family.
