Prof. Dr. Andreas Möbius has been working as a freelance scientific consultant for Michalski - Hüttermann & Partner since September 2013.

Andreas Möbius was born in Leuben near Meißen in 1948. He studied chemistry at the Freiberg Mining Academy, gained his doctorate and specialised in the field of technical electrochemistry. Periods abroad in Hungary, England and Austria rounded off his education.

He was appointed as a university lecturer in technical electrochemistry at the TU Dresden in 1984 and moved to the Academy of Sciences in Berlin-Adlershof in 1989. There he was appointed Professor of Inorganic Chemistry.

In 1991, he began working for the LPW Group in Neuss. He was head of F/E Plant Engineering and later also of Chemistry. Following the takeover by Enthone, he worked as European Technology Director until 2003 and was also responsible for patent work. He is involved in over 50 patents as a co-inventor. From 2003 to 2013, he was able to focus on new technologies worldwide as an Enthone R/D Fellow. He was a lecturer for industrial electroplating technology at the Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule in Aachen.
